If you are serious about filing, you are required by law to complete a credit counseling class before you file.  This can be done online usually in less than an hour at Hummingbird.org.  The fee to complete this credit counseling online course is $34.00.  However, this fee is not charged until we retrieve your certificate of completion when you are ready to file your case.  We collect the fee from you at that time and pay Hummingbird directly, so you can take the course now without worrying about the cost should you change your mind about filing before you retain us.
